“After a short internship that I did which was set up by Developers Institute, I received a job offer as a full stack developer. “

1. Tell me a story about an interesting experience/ day at the developers.institute.
The hackathons were a fun learning experience, as they really gave us more of a chance to experience a real life work environment and see what it takes to be a professional. It was cool to see what other people came up with and of course an added bonus that I won!

2. How did you end up wanting to learn to code?
I originally was planning on trying to get into finance and had been studying to take my CFA. At the suggestion of a friend, I started learning a little Python to help with scripting and the rest is history. Once I started coding I fell in love and realized it had been my true calling all along.

3. What have you enjoyed about the course?
Learning with other people is always more fun and I really enjoyed the other students. The staff was also great and very caring.

4. What was your most challenging moment during the course and what did it feel like when you got over the hurdle?
I can’t really think of a very challenging moment during the course, though I will say the job search afterwards was not simple. Of course there were probably some moments of debugging that I found frustrating.

5. What are your doing now ?
After a short internship that I did which was set up by Developers Institute, I received a job offer as a full stack developer.
