Isaac Groisman – Alumni of Developers Institute
1. Tell me a story about an interesting experience/ day at the developers.institute.
My experience was really great at the institute, I like that in the mornings you can start by having a fresh mind with some coffee and get ready to code. We start by understanding concepts in programming, ask questions, learn how everything works and put everything together in a task, that is to build a small project for the day. It is great that you have your classmates so you can give and have help from others and also you have your teacher in which you can consult anything. For my part-time bootcamp it is great that I have all the syllabus on the DI online platform, so I can study whenever a want.
2. How did you end up wanting to learn to code?
3. What have you enjoyed about the course?
I really enjoyed coming to the institute every day, being in the classes, get to know new people and create awesome projects.
4. What was your most challenging moment during the course and what did it feel like when you got over the hurdle?
The most challenging part was understanding how the new React framework works, solving problems in my project, connecting everything together in the deployment, especially the database in the server. But after all that, it feels great to accomplish something that was really hard, “that is how you learn”, you first go step by step solving tasks for your application so that when you get to your final stage you will have a working application that you can feel proud about it. It is really satisfying.
